Director of KNUST E-Learning Centre interacts with Master Card Foundation's E-Learning Beneficiaries


 

ElearningChampionsTen (10) out of the fifteen (15) beneficiaries of MasterCard’s e-learning initiative (e-learning champions) who are lecturers in the various colleges met with Prof. Eric Appau Asante, the Director for KNUST E-Learning Centre on the 17th of May 2022 at the IDL Conference Centre. Mr. Courage Logah, the project representative of MasterCard e-learning initiative, disclosed that MasterCard intervened in the University’s e-learning activities on the basis of the interest shown by the University in this regard.

On behalf of management of the university, the Director of e-learning, Prof. Appau Asante expressed his gratitude to MasterCard for coming on board to assist e-learning mandate of the university. He assured all present that the Centre would continue to provide service support for staff and students in order to achieve the Vice Chancellor’s directive of running programs on the ratio of minimum 70% in-person and 30% online.

In his interactions, he delineated some notable activities the Centre had undertaken in areas of capacity building, sensitization and infrastructural development. He also disclosed that the Centre has provided space for instructional design studios and is yet to be commissioned.
